Yucca Steps

So remember how delighted I was when I encountered those gigantical yuccas when I first got to Can Serrat? This one one of the earliest paintings, on the 6x6" boards that I brought with me. I brought enough boards to do at least one painting a day (as I had been doing here).

But wouldn't you know I got so excited by the large canvas options (and the space in which to work on them!) and distracted by sunshine and food and friendly new faces that I don't have many of these small guys to show for it.
The few others that I did do while there I left behind as small gifts. Art-tokens. Happy birthday, and all that.

But that's ok!-- there's plenty of time yet to play catch up.

Enjoying Denver again albeit surprisingly uncomfortable-hot. Can't believe I still needed access to snow boots when I packed up a month ago. Will certainly have to find a shady spot and a cervesa to pull it on through...
