Rainshine, Barceloneta

It's interesting to me, how the work here arranges itself in a way that I could not have anticipated.
I'm enjoying the new medium (straight canvas, I mean,) and wonder how some of these might transfer onto stretchers once I bring them back!

I was trying-- for this one, to document some of the process as well as the final painting. But it would seem that I don't have a good picture (read: non-blurry,) of the final result. That will come. More color... I think I like it.
For now, here was the beginning stages of a painting of Da-nah (aka, Princess of Korea) when we all spent some time wandering through the rain.
